Enactive Experience for Streaming Media Services

Since the beginning of humankind, storytelling enabled people to understand and shape their impressions reality. Depicted by Walter R. Fisher, narrative paradigm encounters ubiquitous computing dimension, as proposed Mark Weiser (Fisher 1984, 1991), that results in interdisciplinary field Interactive Digital Narrative (IDN). Departing from first text-based experimentation late 1970s, IDN can be considered a vibrant wherein different forms interactive artifacts derived such Hypertext Fiction, Installations, Video Game (Koenitz et al. 2015), Enactive Cinema (Tikka 2006, 2008). presents inquiry prevailing for over three decades, but question remains: is it supposed strictly entertainment or something else? In response, this paper explores possibility implementing an enactive design tailored experience streaming media services, thus proposing conceptual, methodological framework designing system prototyped tested accompanying research.
